For all of us “High Stakes Poker” buffs Monday night is something to look forward to. GSN is airing a four show marathon of the excellent series starting at 8 pm and ending midnight November 13. The series show some of the best poker players in the world go head to head in no limit holdem high stakes cash games. The Monday night marathon is sponsored by MGM studios and Colombia Pictures promoting the new James Bond Movie “Casino Royale”. Behind the scenes footage from the film along with actor interviews will be showed during the marathon.
The upcoming Bond movie “Casino Royale” features some high stakes poker action. Bond is playing the villain Le Chiffre, and need to defeat him in order to bring down a terrorist network, which Le Chiffre is banking. The movie will be coming to a theatre near you on November 17.
Reruns of “High Stakes Poker” are now airing on Thursday nights at 10 pm on GSN. Season three of the popular series will be shoot at the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, and is planned to air on GSN January 2007.
