Howard Lederer's Secrets of No Limit Hold'em

Howard Lederer, also knows as the “professor of poker” has written several books about poker and is featured in several films on the same subject. In this DVD the vastly experienced player who holds ten major titles, gives his advice on the most popular poker form today – No Limit Texas Hold’EM. Although assuming that the viewers are familiar with the game much of the content in the movie is very basic. For example Lederer gives instructions on how to set a kitchen timer so you know when to increase the blinds. When it comes to the game itself Lederer mainly focuses on play before the flop.

One would expect a movie featuring such a prominent poker player to be more interesting and informative, with more concrete tips on specific situations. Not many poker secrets are revealed in this film. But if you’re a beginning No Limit Texas Hold’EM player you will find it useful. The movie is easy to follow and understand and will help you get started playing poker.
